最近刚签的Research Assistant的合同，写了initial appointment是从2014年6月1日
到2015年1月31日，也写了salary和保险福利。
但是还有这么一句“During its initial and subsequent term,your employment is
contingent upon satisfactory performance and the existence of funding”.
打算6月中下旬递485，不知道就用这个合同做Employment Verification Letter行不行？

HR has sample letter of EVL.
EVL is not only for I-485 petition and even US citizen also often needs EVL
for rent/lease/morgage.
