As a UI focused Web Application Developer, your work will elegantly
visualize the real-time performance of billions of online video streams per
month, helping to improve the viewing experience for millions of viewers
watching content from hundreds of premium providers all over the globe. This
is big data with a capital B and you’ll be responsible for putting a
handsome, accessible face to it.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the front-end of Conviva’s real-time video streaming
monitor and control solutions.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, UX & Design teams to
continuously optimize & improve the user experience.
Write web application code following best practices of accessibility,
internationalization, TDD.
Perform detailed application design, coding, and unit testing
Qualifications:
3+ years of related working experience implementing major UI components
preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
BS/BA in CS or related field.
Unparalleled expertise working with object-oriented JavaScript/HTML5/CSS/
JSON/XML
Understanding of browser DOM APIs
Understanding of UX and IA (Information Architecture)
Knowledge of a server-side language, e.g., Python or Java.
Self-motivated, quick-learner, team-player with excellent communication
skills
