My case (EB1-B) was approved in late 2013. After one and half year, I feel I
still owe my attorney (she is actually paralegal, but the person who
actually did the work on my case) a strong recommendation.
My case was absolutely week. With a phd in a field naturally came with very
low citations. At the time of my application, I have only 3 papers (although
2 could be claimed as top journal), 2 citations. I didn't think I have too
much chance. I came here every night after work and often discouraged by
stories about some "Da Niu" got REF or denial.
My case was assigned to Shelly. "Attorney takes your case, and put it on a
shelf somewhere.." that was my impression for my H1B case with the same
attorney office. So I was so surprised to find out that what a nice person
Shelly is. She genuinely cares about my case. During her 10+ years in the
business, she only gets one or two case denied. She guided me to find hard
evidences with me. Stressed and not confident enough (just like many of us),
I communicated with her quite often. She was always patient and kind with
me.
With all the luck and help from Shelly, my case was approve. I appreciate
Shelly and consider her as a good friend (she might not:) ). We still
contact
each other (not being billed so far:) )I lives in East coast and in the
middle of 2014 and get a chance to thank her in person during a business
trip on the West side and thank her in person.
I want to recommend Shelly to you and wish you good luck on your case.
Although she is a nice person, please don’t abuse her kindness (I know most
of us won’t, but for some of us, please skip and find someone else).
