My name is Dr.XXX, and I am an Associate Professor at the XXX where I study
the various anti-cancer compounds. I earned my MS in Agricultural Chemistry
from Seoul National University and my PhD in Human Genetics from XXX. I then
went on to complete an IRTA Fellowship (1998-2002) and a Research
Fellowship (2003) at the National Institute of Environmental Health Science
of the National Institutes of Health. I have earned a number of awards for
my research work: the 2007 Pfizer Animal Health Award for Excellence in
Research, the 2007 Chancellor’s Award in Professional Promise in Research
and Creative Achievement Award, and the 2006 Wharton Professionship Award. I
have published 121 peer-reviewed research articles, 7 review articles and 5
book chapters. XXX studies have been very useful to me, to the point that I
have cited one article on Drg-1 in particular, and it is a privilege to
offer you this letter on her behalf. I do not know XX Xpersonally, and I
have not directly worked with her in the past. However I am familiar with
the importance of her research. In the context of our country’s health care
needs, I can testify that XXX has made significant contributions in the
field of cancer research. Furthermore, these contributions have also serve
the national interest of the United States by improving the healthcare of
Americans, especially in regard to cancer, which affects millions of
Americans.
