大家好，
终于毕业找到了工作，开始跟各位一样走上了奋斗绿卡的道路。目前的状态是州政府环
境部门，OPT中，单位说是给办H1B，但是绿卡据说不会给办。
现在把自己的情况跟大家说说，求大家评估EB1A的可能性。
Publication:
11篇Journal (一作2，包括1中文+1英文) 还有2篇一作的英文在ongoing, 希望老板在
接下的一年快点看完投出去。（IF在0～5）
引用：
不区分他引和自引，目前google scholar 只有105(其中一篇（我只是第6作者）的引用
占了57个)
审稿：
15篇英文（IF 1~5）（基本上都有初审和复审，所以算是30次审稿？）
帮一个国际会议审稿10篇（在这个国际会议做2个section 的chair，所以是职责范围内）
另外还有10次中文期刊的审稿。
帮一个国际会议review奖学金申请人的材料10个人（不知道这个可不可以claim ）
另外一些：
媒体引用：有一些媒体报道了我参加的一些科研项目（有co-author的paper发表）但是
新闻报道里只提了老板的名字.
中文媒体：由于自己非常关心国内的环境问题，所以有一些媒体的报道（实名），采访
文章也被一些主流网络媒体转载（新京报，网易，凤凰，新华）。我们小地方的电视台
也采访过我（视频可以搜到）
现在刚开始收集材料，
请教大家两个问题：
1）这些中文的报道算不算媒体亮点呢？
2）我看大家有自引和他引之分？想请教一下如何定义？比如一篇文章我是第6作者，但
是第一作者A,A在他其他发表的文章里也已用了这篇文章，这个算是自引还是他引呢？
3) 我还度过一个全国行业机构颁发的奖学金，不知道能不能算成亮点？
4）我知道我的case比较弱，如果申请EB1A的话，希望大吗？需要再怎么准备，请大神
指点。

1.中文的媒体报道，如果有数据证明有影响力，可以算，你就是要拿出数据来，官方对
媒体的定义：According to the AAO, “To qualify as major media, the
publication should have significant national or international distribution.
An alien would not earn acclaim at the national level from a local
publication. Some newspapers, such as the New York Times, nominally serve a
particular locality but would qualify as major media because of significant
national distribution, unlike small local community papers.”
所以，你就必须用可以公开查到的数据来支持是全国范围内的发行量，影响力。那么就
可以用。而且报道内容必须和你的工作结果相关，而不是采用你的意见而已。要具体详
实。当然，你必须要有公证的翻译。
地方电视台的视频，可以基本断定是无用。
2.自引在学界的定义一般认为是：A self-citation is usually defined as a
citation where the citing and the cited paper share at least one author, but
it can be split into three kinds:
1. the papers share the first author;
2. one paper's first author is co-author on the other;
3. the papers share only co-authors (Schreiber, 2007).
所以，显然，你的这个例子是属于自引。
3.这个全国性的奖项是不是可以说服评审员，完全看你自己是不是可以找出证据来说服
，官方的说法：
With regard to the receipt of lesser nationally or internationally
recognized prizes or awards, evidence should be submitted regarding the
number of person nominated, a description of the prize or award and whether
it is a team work or an individual performance. USCIS has made the following
rulings concerning this evidence requirement:
a) Academic scholarships or grants do not suffice.
b)Evidence should be Submitted Regarding How Many Individuals were Nominated
for an Award or Prize and the Criteria for Eligibility.
c)Team award is less valuable than individual award.
d)Local awards do not suffice.
所以，完全看你能不能摆出数据来，说明你的获奖是的确给力。
4.你的案子呢，可以努力。不是躺过的。能不能过，看你下多大功夫，当然还需要一点
运气，碰见杀手再强的案子也被RFE。

再加上几篇会议论文充数的话文章跟审稿应该都没有问题，主要还是citation如何深挖。
