我有一個推薦人(韓國教授)當初在答應願意幫忙簽名時很爽快
但在推薦信寄過去後曲折離奇時至今日都還沒有收到簽名信
以下是我的催信過程想請各位幫我評估一下我到底還該不該等他...
2/28 寄出推薦信draft給推薦人 (沒回信)
3/7 follow up 之後當天收到一封回信如下:
I will come back with you with the signed documents within 2 days.
Wbr,
XXX
3/16 follow up again (沒回信)
3/21 follow up again 然後五分鐘內收到一封回信如下:
Dear Dr. Chen:
WIth apology in the delay in response.
I will send you all the documents necessary within today.
I wish a good luck for your application.
Regards,
XXX
我3/21的follow up說如果不能幫我簽也希望能告訴我
結果他回了說會簽
然後昨天等了一整天還是沒收到簽名信...
請問這情況該怎麼破?
一直催怕推薦人不高興
但我想他肯定又忘記了
請問我還要繼續follow up嗎?
如果還催信該怎麼寫?
該哪時候催比較容易拿到?
請問有甚麼更高招的方式可以拿到簽名信嗎?
這個推薦人是不是其實壓根就沒想幫我簽呢?
還是該直接move on找其他人了?
唉推薦信這坎過不去阿
搞了好久真是煎熬度日如年...
懇請各位指點...

你每次follow up附上draft没？如果最近一次附了，那你准备换人吧，否则马上发一个
过去。然后本周内不回就move on

我每次follow up都有附draft跟CV 最後一次的follow up (3/21) 如下:
Dear Professor XXX,
I am writing for following up with you regarding the support letter for my
residency petition that is soon to be filed. Thank you very much again for
the kindness of being willing to write me a letter of recommendation for
this matter. I understand that you are extremely busy, so I just wanted to
send a friendly reminder that I am still awaiting your signed letter to
finalize the filing package. If you could please send me any correspondence
on the progress of this letter I would greatly appreciate it, and will be
happy to field any questions, comments or concerns you may have. If you
happen to be no longer able to help me with this matter, it would also be
highly appreciate that you could please let me know as early as possible,
although your gracious support is very important for my petition and to me
personally.
I appreciate very much of your help. Your support in this matter is very
important for me and my family to settle our life in the United States.

原本今天已經寫信給律師準備換人了
就在剛剛突然收到推薦人的回信跟簽名信了
Dear Dr. Chen:
Once again with apology for the delay in response..
Hoping that everything moves well with this matter
and all of yours...
XXX
終於可以move on with filing the petition了!
