请问父母绿卡有效期间在美国境外出生的宝宝是不是有个2年的豁免政策？是指宝宝不
需要签证就可入境，还是有特殊类别申请绿卡？

Upon 绿卡 mother and baby's first return to USA, if mother is successfully
admitted as LPR, the baby can gain LPR on the day of entry. 8 CFR, Sec. 211
.1 and OI, Sec. 211 as NA3 category (Child born during the temporary visit
abroad of a mother who is a lawful permanent resident alien or national of
the United States)

入境就是applying for readmission。那句的关键就是first return。就是说如果是那
方父母的second return就不算，就算孩子还是2岁以下。

我家娃就是这样入境美国并顺利取得绿卡的。遇到了两个麻烦，第一，是从香港机场办
理登机手续时，航空公司人员并不知道这个政策，好在她们说可以打电话直接问美领馆
，然后花了接近两个小时才办理好手续。第二个麻烦是在美国入境时，海关人员同样不
知道这个政策，一直问我家孩子是怎么做到登机的，然后又是查资料打电话，好在也是
顺利办好手续。然后大概十来天就收到绿卡了。
