刚通过议员询问i485 case情况,得到如下回复
照他们的说法,现在case没批准是因为“do not have a visa available”。那么EB1
在现在财年估计是不会前进了?
Dear Dr. xxxx,
Senator xx’s office received the following correspondence from
the USCIS National Benefits Center in response to an inquiry sent on your
behalf:
Good morning,
Re:
Name: xxxx
Receipt Number: LIN--------
Form: I-485
Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter.
Properly-filed Form I-485 cases that do not have a visa available are held
at the NBC to await visa availability. When a visa number becomes
available, the NBC resumes processing of the case.
Our records indicate that your constituent’s priority date is now current.
Generally, applications and petitions are processed in the order received,
and the priority date on the underlying visa petition is used to determine
an individual’s place in the visa queue. Your constituent’s case will be
worked in the order received, and once further action is taken, a notice
will be sent to the address of record.
Please note, due to the high volume of visas now available, there are a
large number of cases pending review at this time. Your constituent's case
will be reviewed as soon as possible.
We hope the information provided is helpful. If we may be of assistance in
the future, please let us know.
