It is very normal for FireFox to eat around 150M memory. But it really surp
rised me this morning
when I found that it is using over 600M on our web server, on which I happen
ed to have let
FireFox hang for an entire night.
My work station, which has only 512 + 256 - some video memory, gets extremel
y slow if I use
FireFox. I have only 2 to 3 FireFox plugins.
The fan of my computer at home also works very hard and makes a lot noise if
I use firefox. Now that

How? I like FF except its big stomach for memory.

I googled out config.trim_on_minimize, and many others.
Cool, I am so tu that I did not know about such tricks.
