Among those I have been exposed to, “900 English Sentences” is the only
material with pauses and intonations marked. The above listed step
tremendously benefits me. One needs to repeatedly listen to the tape and
ensure the correct pronunciation. Do not rush and ensure all the syllables
in a word have been properly pronounced. Avoid omitting the last syllable
which is commonly missed in a fast speech. After ironing out the words and
sentences, feel the flow of the language and repeat till one can
