If you operate a public hot-spot, e.g. a coffee shop, then wireless encryption
would be pointless If you don't care about others seeing everything you do
online, then wireless encryption would be unnecessary. If you run SSH or VPN
over Wi-Fi all the time, then wireless encryption would be "wasteful".
Otherwise, use WPA if possible, WEP at the minimum.
