I have been doing some reading on alternative energy. here is a summary on
them.
1) wind energy
pro: cost of unit production is the lowest among the 3 discussed as of now.
con: it is highly affected by weather and location
2) ethanol
pro: it is a good substitute for oil. Blending and transportation bottle
neck is being worked out, its demand will increase.
con: the cost of production is likely to continue to rise since it is
fighting for the same resource (land, fertilizer etc) that food stuff
