不觉得有啥突出的，java6面向desktop做了很多提升，可是试了一把，还是很屎。桌面
真就那么难做吗？

扫了一眼highlight，没有什么特别impressive的。
感觉比较用得上的可能是对web service的支持。
当然只要能提高look&feel，加快速度，减少内存使用，
像swt一样快，就已经很成功了。

One thing they should have striven to make into 6 is the ability to run
multiple isolated applications in one JVM. It would have been the best thing
for both desktop and server apps since HotSpot. 8-)

Well you can actually specify -Xmx to as large as the available system
memory. JVM would still dynamically request memory as it needs. It just won'
t give it back.

Point taken. I guess if the application comes with an installer, the
installer can decide that and sets the jvm options at install-time. Don't
remember if you can do this with web start though.
