刚看完 James Rollins 的 The Doomsday Key。虽然很爱看 Techno-Thriller 这类的
小说，但是是第一次读 James Rollins 的书。这类小说最出彩的部分往往是在序章，
是否能提出一个吸引人的谜团至关重要，在这一点上，这本书作的很不错。我在 Amaz
on 提供的 Kindle 免费预览中看完了序章，就被吸引着看了下去。书的序章里提到了
三件事情：第一，十一世纪时英国国王征服者威廉进行了一次全国普查，在这次普查中
，一些村落被标注为“Wasted”，而这次普查的记录 The Domesday Book 后来也被称
之为 The Doomsday Book；第二，十二世纪时，爱尔兰有一位圣徒 Saint Malachy，他
预言了从他的时代起到世界末日的所有的112个教皇，并且他的预言后来被证明是非常
的准确。现任教皇是他预言中的第111位，也就是说，下一任教皇将是末日教皇；第三
，从2006年到2008年，北美大陆的蜜蜂减少了1/3。这三件事之间的联系是什么？所以
很容易就被吸引了。
说实话，小说开头部分看得挺失望的，首先是一开始就出现了

I don't like people post their assignments online looking for answers.
You should solve it by yourselves. Otherwise, why should they give you
credits?

和前面那个是一个人吧，题名很象。
问作业也无所谓，关键是不能白问，大牛门给lz开个价吧。hehe

即使不是同一人，也是同一课上的。都是一个 IP 前缀。
他们两个说实在，与其浪费时间假装学习 programming，还不如改行。就这种
学习态度，属于根本找不到工作的料。勉强找到了也是要被炒掉的。
其实就算上课做作业认真，不课外学习很多实用的技术找工作也困难。

确实是，我是越看越象作业题，不如出２０刀，老夫负责帮你调试，debug。

mm+GC找工作没问题。

ppmm + opt 也很困难的。我一朋友，相貌属于 80 分以上的（打扮一下属于 90
分以上)，IQ 估计比俺高不少。cs 大学毕业，作业都是她自己搞定的，但是没在
课外学新的东西。找工作的那个痛苦。。。后来找到 QA ，慢慢转到编程。

QA is low level work, pure blue collar in software company, no future in the
career unless you are content with blue collar job.

她 EQ 应该不低吧。找编程的工作的时候主要是连面试都没达到就被人据了，
当时经济不好是个原因。当 QA 的时候，她好像升到了游戏 producer 。不
过她还是更喜欢编程一些。
她去年结的婚。
