小公司呢？ 是不是算法的要求就低很多？但是总有些基本的要求吧？

为什么大公司这么喜欢考算法?
工作中用到的东西这么多,算法只占很少比例吧

大概因为这东西是课堂里能学到的。别的东西课堂里都学不到，对新手来说更不公平。

白板coding is very different from algorithm. I would think I am fairly good
at normal algorithm. But I did not well with 白板coding. I struggled with a
simple reverse linked list. I know the idea, just not good at write things
on board instead of the computer. I wrote a bit, erased a bit, and finally
got the final result. :) I was interviewed for the "senior" developer in a
big financial company. I know other things about Java well though: language
, OO, spring... And they gave me an offer. So I guess it just depends how
bad they want the people and other things. It certainly does not hurt if
you can excel in those catagories. But it is not 100% necessary for every
companies.

找junior，算法好的一般至少聪明。大公司进去新人还要培养的，
名校+聪明是安全的做法。

agree. 我觉得考算法的几大好处，第一看聪明不聪明，第二看基本功好不好，第三如
果连冷僻的算法都能当场答出来，如果不是出奇地聪明，至少说明这个人肯下功夫。

我觉得local + 聪明 很重要.
