my program returns a compiler error:
Note:.... uses or orverides a deprecated API.
what does this mean?
I just changed several method and added several GUI elements.
can sb help me?

You used some deprecated API in your program, just recompile with
javac -deprecated *.java
it will show all the deprecated methods which you used in the program. If you
don't want that warning, then modify them. Otherwise, live with it, it is just
warning.
