Or just use fully qualified class names. Of course the first thing is to have the class in your classpath

JSP files can be at anywhere under your document root. Supporting class files should be in a special location defined by your web server. Usually the location is WEB-INF/class. Below this you have the normal directory structures for packages.

files structures Don't mean to pick on your typo, which I'm sure it is, but this is kind of important - it's WEB-INF/classes, or your classes won't get picked up. 8-)
