1。进餐时右手刀、左手叉。European style 切完后不用换手,用左手的叉叉起来吃。
American style 要把刀放在盘子的top edge,叉交到右手。切菜时,一次最多切1-
2块 (it is important NEVER to cut more than one or two bites at one time)
,切一点吃一点,不可以一气切完。
2。不可以把汤端起来喝,但舀汤时可以让汤碗倾斜,正确的方向是away from the
body。同样,盛汤的动作也是away from yourself。汤碗下面一般会有盘子,喝完汤后
勺子要放在盘上(而不是碗里),碗的后面。
3。记住"liquids on your right and solids on your left" 。bread and butter
plate 放在serving plate的左边,glassware and cup 放在右边。喝完水后要把杯子
