我现在还是在校学生(F1)，不过已经收到了I797B,就是说H1B的申请已经通过了。但
I797B不能给我自动转身份（i797A可以），我必须出去一趟签证。
请教一下两个问题：
1. 有没有可能从i797B转成I797A？在什么情况下可以？
2. 墨西哥的大使馆好像现在已经不接受这种change of status的case了，是否只能回
国签了？

如果你的I-20的有效期晚于十月一日，你就可以转。
公司的律师为什么要搞I-797B？有什么缘故吗？

貌似因为我“had never been out of status as a student", 刚找到的：

I 797A : Is issued to people ONLY in the usa currently undergoing a change
of status (f1-h1, h1-h1, l1-h1 etc). the "A" is for Change of status
approved which means the applicant can continue to remain in the USA and
work. Hence i 797A will have a green i94 attached to it approving the status
approved.
I797B - is issued to those who have never been to the usa or to th
