Regeneron is a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company that discovers,
develops, and commercializes
medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions. In addition to
ARCALYST (rilonacept) Injection for
Subcutaneous Use, its first commercialized product, Regeneron has
therapeutic candidates in Phase 3 clinical
trials for the potential treatment of gout, diseases of the eye (wet age-
related macular degeneration and
central retinal vein occlusion), and certain cancers. Additional therapeutic
candidates are in earlier stage
development programs in rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory
conditions, pain, cholesterol reduction,
allergic and immune conditions, and cancer.
Join a team of investigators aiming to discover and evaluate new
pharmacological treatments for ailments that
afflict the skeleton and the skin using in vivo murine models.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the area of
histology, as this will be the primary
focus of the successful candidate's work. Experience in histological
techniques used to image and analyze
cartilage and skin will be considered a plus but are not an absolute
requirement. Additional but not necessary
technical competencies are some experience in either cell culture or
molecular assays or with mouse in vivo
experimentation (dosing, fluid collection, and minor surgery).
Experience:
- BA, BS, or MS in relevant discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently and receptiveness to take scientific
direction from team leaders.
- Demonstrated talent handling multiple projects in parallel.
- Excellent communication, documentation and organization skills, and
experience working in teams.
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including stock
incentives, 401k with company
match as well as the expected health and welfare benefits. Comprehensive
relocation benefits are available, as
required.
