The candidate will possess a BS/MS with an emphasis in virology or molecular
biology; and has at least 3-5 years related work experience in a drug
discovery organization. The candidates should have track record of assay
development experience and possess extensive experience in cell-based assays
, gene transfection, DNA/RNA purification, hybridization, cloning and PCR
techniques. The candidate will be expected to work in a biosafety level III
laboratory. Prior experience with DNA or RNA viruses is preferred.
Candidates with prior publications in peered reviewed journals are required.
Effective communication and writing skills are critical.
