治安确实差，在学校的时候一般一学期会有3-4封邮件报告学校内或周边的较为严重的
治安事件，主要是抢劫。不过我自己和身边的同学没有碰到过这样的事情。

亚特兰大工资水平大概是C++6万，Java8万，跟加州没法比。
工资虽然不高，但是生活水平也低：房子20万左右能搞定，好的学区30万也能买下来
治安嘛，暴力事件在北边没怎么听说，就是入室盗窃的比较多。我有一次回国一个月，
家里就被清空
了。平时门窗锁好，一般不会有事。

Most big city did very good job on segregation,which means it depends which
area you live, at chicago, there are some areas may rank top safe places to
live, same thing happens at NYC.
As I said, google is your friend. google zipcode for more specific
