如果人家给了我名片, 那我就回来后写一封thank you letter.
可是如果没有名片, 要不要问人家要名片? 还是就这样了, 也不写感谢信了.
电面的时候问人家要email address, 本来是想写 thank you letter用的, 结果人家说
, no, no, at this stage of the interview, I don't really give out emails,
etc. etc. 有点尴尬. 所以现在有点搞不清楚到底哪个更妥当.

don't ask for email unless they offer. don't write thank-you email unless
you feel strongly about an issue. thank-you email (letter) won't add a bit
in the decision of hiring or not.

看公司吧。热门公司的面试员都身经百战，一般不愿意给，太烦。
小公司，或者有强力内线的那种，可以要。

I think you are right.
决定以后不再写 thank you letter 了. 好象是没有什么用. 想给你offer的不怎么写
就来了, 不想给的再怎么写也不会有.
不知道为什么老美网站上都宣传要写这种信, 很重要, etc. etc.

要看具体情况。如果你比其它candidates强很多，这个不重要；但如果不是的话，有时
候就很重要：几个candidates都差不多的时候，要谁不要谁很多时候就取决于这些小细
节。

if interviewee ask me for business card, I may give,
but if just asking for email address, I may not give.
although business card has more information.
just politely asking for business card, if not, then that is it.
whether thank you letter make difference? depends,
for engineering position, high possibility no difference,
but it could help at time. definitely worthy a try if possible.
for business related position, it could make big difference.

还是要写。上次我们公司面了个中国小女孩，迟到15分钟不说，面完居然没有thank
you letter, --我一开始就把名片给他了。据，明显没诚意--虽说我们当时就选中了她
一个interview。

being late is much worse than no thank-you letter.
but the truth is she's not pretty. your excuse is lame.

如果面试见了5个人，
1 个hr (received her card and has her e-mail address)
1 个 department 经理 (didn't get the business card, only have the phone
number)
2个另外departments 经理 (no business card and don't remember their names)
另外一个department经理 (on video conference) : 在例外一个location.
我是不是就写一份给hr and thank everyone who interviewed me?
