Job Description: The chemist will be responsible for performing routine
analytical tests using compendial or validated in-house methods for raw
material release, finish product release and stability samples with minimum
supervision. On a needed basis, this individual will conduct studies for
troubleshooting existing methods and investigating out-of-specification test
results. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing
certain equipment maintenance and calibration, routine and non-routine
laboratory maintenance tasks.
Qualifications: A qualified applicant must have a BS/BA in a science
discipline, preferably in chemistry with 2-3 years experience in
pharmaceutical industrial experience. Prior experiences in HPLC, GC, UV/Vis,
dissolution, wet chemistry, Empower data system, and quality assurance are
pluses.
