From Quora:
Facebook Engineering Bootcamp: What does it feel like to not make it through
Facebook Engineering Bootcamp?
Also, would love to hear about those who've moved on to bigger better things.
Joel Seligstein, Bootcamp Engineering Manager
28 votes by Tudor Achim, Anon User, Adrien Ecoffet, (more)
I've been asked to answer this question now a couple of times, and have
debated a bit about how to answer or really whether to answer at all.
In short, this question is fairly irrelevant, and its tone implies some
things that aren't quite true. Bootcamp is not a weed-out nor highly
evaluative program. We aim to help people ramp up as quickly as possible in
a safe, supported environment while teaching our culture of how to move
fast at our company.
People leave companies for a variety of reasons early on during an
employment. As the current Manager of Bootcamp at Facebook, I can say that
pointing to 'Bootcamp' as a reason (implying someone "didn't make it") for
leaving Facebook is a fallacy and in fact the inverse of what we strive for
as part of the Bootcamp team.Via Bilawal Hameed

嗯,这个quora上的回答比较清楚
Facebook Engineering Bootcamp: What percentage of the applicants at Facebook
make it through the initial 6-week bootcamp cut onto becoming a full-time
employee?
Andrew 'Boz' Bosworth, I created Bootcamp
101 votes by Marc Bodnick, Anon User, Tom Cook, (more)
I don't have exact numbers, but as the creator of bootcamp and the person
who ran it for the first few years I can confirm that the overwhelming
majority of new engineers make it through bootcamp. The goal of bootcamp is
to train people to succeed, not to screen them out; that's what our
interviews are for. There are only a very, very small handful of people who
didn't work out for various reasons.
Joel Seligstein
As the current person who runs bootcamp, this is still correct. My goals
are to get people onto teams and be successful as soon as possible.
