Job responsibility:
Candidate will be responsible for aspects of the systems design for complex
RF and digital ASIC products focused on WLAN technologies and their
application. The ideal candidate will have enough breath to design the
systems aspects of a complex feature, then work closely with digital
hardware, software, firmware and RF teams to implement and verify the
feature. Systems activities include theoretical analysis, computer aided
analysis, regular active participation in design and review sessions,
contribution to IP portfolio and systems support for implementation related
activities.
Candidates will work in an exciting team environment with some of the
brightest systems engineers in the industry and will have frequent
interaction with other engineering disciplines. Senior candidates may lead a
team of multiple systems engineers or a multi-disciplinary project.
skill/experience requirements:
- 5+ years experience in wireless systems.
- Theoretical grounding in physical layer algorithms and their
implementation for digital communications systems
- Knowledgeable of RF and analog architectures as applied to digital
communication systems including RF front-end design, RF impairments and
their impact on baseband design
- Experience with OFDM, WLAN and MIMO systems preferred
