几个月前被laid off,好不容易找到下家，h1b transfer也办下来了。下周一上班。但
是昨天突然接到一个国家实验室的offer，现在不知道如何处理。
现在的下家是private company，employment at will, 作的东西其实和自己的phd没什
么关系。
国家实验室是3年的postdoc researcher position, 工资比private company 还多个8
千，还有relocation package, 估计要办Non-profit的visa,是J1的签证吗？有经验的
说说。
大家给点意见吧。觉得退掉private company有点不厚道，但又不甘心失去了这个去国
家实验室的机会，艾

nonprofit不要去了吧。多八千，在私人公司三年后你的工资早就涨了。国家实验室听
着牛逼，但是进去做个博士后有啥意思啊

National lab suppots H-1, if you can actively publish papers, you might be
able to get a scientist position, depending on fundings. Funding for
national lab is not looking good this year and the next few years.

可以办h1b,但是我现在新公司的h1b下周就开始了，如果我现在推掉这个工作的话，我
又变成没有身份了吧？
