Required Qualification
•3 years of overall software development experience, 1+ years in
advanced HTML/DHTMl, Javascript
•Solid understanding of DHTML and JavaScript
•Good understanding of the UI data models and integration with remote
services
•Should have strong visual design skills and a flair for developing UI
components.
•Understanding of XHTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript development
skills and cross browser compatibility issues.
•High level of proficiency with JavaScript (including object-oriented
JS), DHTML, XMLHttpRequest, XML, JSON.
•Expert skills in hand-coding and debugging HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
•Intermediate skills in hand-coding and debugging XML, JSP, and Java
•Experience with the integration and use of a third-party JavaScript
library such as: Yahoo UI Library, Prototype, jQuery, DOJO, etc.
•Writing high-quality, testable, maintainable, and well-documented
code.
•Solid understanding of working within a Model-View-Controller program
architecture paradigm.
•Good understanding of implementation issues related to web
accessibility requirements such as the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative and
the Section 508 rule
•Ability to strike a balance between quality of work and turnaround
time
•Ability and desire to work as a part of a team with web developers
and senior software engineers
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably
SCRUM
•Familiar with tools like Subversion, Eclipse, FindBugs etc
•Enthusiastic, reliable individual with excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
•B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent required;
