两个星期前拒掉了一个大公司的offer
来了一个start up 今天第一天上班发现被坑了要等一年才办h1b
现在还可以回头骚扰大公司HR求收留吗
好死不死一个星期之前HR还电话问我为何拒了他们家，我两天前才回复说因为我喜欢
start up....
是作死吗
求建议

主要是感觉被二次欺骗了。。
签的时候就被坑了一下。。还是满怀热情去了。。谁知道。。。

当然也要看你当时是怎么拒的第一家。如果你当时说过“你们这包裹是打发要饭的吗？
也好意思拿给我看？睁开你的狗眼看看大爷是谁！”的话就不要去问了。。。

一直都很诚恳，还千恩万谢HR说贵司简直拥有我见过的最好的HR department。。

Call first. If didn't get through (most likely case), leave a message.
Then follow it up w/ an email/call a day later.
The key here is be professional. No need to act desperate (even though u r)
or apologetic - when asked just tell them that the start up wasn't truthful
with you and you only found out now.
From the big company's perspective, of course it won't like what you did,
but at the end of the day, it's a business decision more than a personal one
. If it already extended an offer to the next one in line after your
refusal, then you have to wait for ur turn. Begging here won't do you any
good EVEN if they feel you are more qualified. But then again, if they are
still looking for someone to fill the slot, you never know...
From the start-up's perspective, you do realize you are burning the bridges
there, right?
Bottomline, doesn't hurt to try. Stay professional and don't act desperate/
apologetic.

那就试试看吧。没坏处。可以跟他们说，如果不给offer就不是最好的hr department
了。。。。

startup其实也不小了快500人了。。
晚一年申h1b抽签机会就少一次啊

不要光看H1b，小公司如果没有硬伤，学到的东西是大公司没法比的，你没有h1b,用的
是opt,既然有opt，何必急着申长远来说职业的发展是最重要的

我说话不怕得罪人。难听的话我来说。
楼主你还打算自己挣钱养家吗？
这个被你拒掉的offer可能是你唯一的一次就业机会。
楼主把什么面子都扔一边去，你要说尽好话把offer再争回来。
否则你真可能未来的大半年没工作。
如果你指望你父母继续每月把他们微博的工资换成美元汇来养你，就当我什么都没说。

HR对于offer的去留是没有决定权的吧
你这个情况，得看hiring manager是啥想法……
所以你该问就问，但是别把现在的工作搅合黄了，要不就啥都没了

现在的工作要只是办H1B上班卡了你，其他还好的话，先呆着慢慢找下家呗，反正都是
上班，OPT跳槽又容易

关键是连续两次公司承诺的不兑现吧，后面还不好说整出什么幺蛾子呢

Yes, make a call, as suggested.
Say I am sorry I made a mistake to reject the offer, I found out myself
actually prefer work in a large company.
牢记这个教训.
Next time, don't reject any offer without asking USA LaoTu.

Don't provide it unless you have to. They are asking for this strictly for
market intelligence reason and have nothing to do w/ your offer.
You don't need to provide reason for choosing one over the other - again,
this is for big company's internal data collection. But why do you need to
answer that email now that everything is changed and you are trying to get
the 1st offer back on the table again?

好了大公司还是收留了我
不过要先做background checking差不多一个月之后才上班
我现在是呆在startup么？怎么跟现在的老板说啊。。。
还有以后简历上要怎么写。。
是不是领了paycheck之后以后跳槽都会被查到啊。。。

Call and email to get hold of the HR/Recruiter.
If they are still looking and haven't found a good candidate, then very
likely you will get hired.
It is more like you work for the start up company and doesn't like it and go
back to apply for the company position again.

没有身份的人，不要轻易
去小公司。除非小公司
管理的人品极好，或者
办身份很有经验。

我当初也是这个考虑，那个startup连自己的HR部门都没有，还是临时hire了一个
recruit公司来找的我，而且这hr又很拽的样子，感觉办H1和绿卡很不让人放心。。。
。。最后给了我比大公司多50%的offer，我犹豫了一下还是没去，现在看来是对的。

人有多大胆地有多大产
那个公司如果是whatsapp，那你不去就亏大了，而且正因为你没有身份交的税还比有身
份的人少多了。
你知道facebook创始人为了上市省税直接退出美国国籍吧？
