硕士工作3年。
给了package如下：
L62
base: 140K
sign on: 25K
stock: 125K 分 5年
bonus each year: up to 20% of base.
bonus stock each year: up to 25K.
manager说一年就能升senior。。。
目前一年170K这样，也在西雅图，从么。。？

按62这个级别和base来看感觉股票少点了。。。
不过硕士三年微软能这个package应该说很好了。

既然和你现在的工资基本一样，跳不跳看以后发展，微软现在已经落末到3环开外了，
如果钱不能给你加20%以上没必要冒险。

3年能拿到62 已经很快了。但是我严重怀疑 manager 说的一年能升到到63级 4年的
senior只有少数组允许存在。。。很多组组 senior 都至少在微软呆了7，8年（多的
十几年）不会promote 一个不到30的年轻人的。

是Azure，不过我面试的时候貌似有个烙印是senior，但是挺年轻的。。我也觉得一年
升senior有点钓鱼嫌疑啊。实在不行干一年跑？微软干一年跑路需要退sign on么？

微软现在升senior比较容易了，title也通货膨胀的厉害，到principal稍微时间长些.
1，2年到senior多起来了

你那manager说一年就能升senior完全是真的，现在微软给title给的很高都，1年经验
的给2级，3年的给senior，很多新进的principle都非常年轻。能这样给完全是微软这
样的养老公司待个2年水平基本是原地踏步甚至倒退，政治水平却会大有提高。
楼主骑驴找马，只考虑西雅图的话，真的可以考虑放弃这个offer，去面大G, 或者U，F
，甚至Salesforce，以楼主的实力肯定可以。

That's a superb offer.
Salesforce and Amazon in Seattle area pays about the same or less for a 3
year experience, unless you think you are such an expert that can beat most
people.
Senior in MSFT expect you handle projects and lead project. Normal 3 year
experience will not be likely, and it is therefore difficult to beat other
people in the company who is SDE and SDEII.
Principal (BTW, not principle!!) is around 1 in 5, and do you believe 1/5
people in the industry has less than 3 year experience?
Typical setting around 50 people with a partner level director/manager,
which divides into 3 groups with principal managers and principal SDE/
Architect. Each group have 2-3 team of people lead by 1 or 2 Senior.
62 is about 5 in AMZN.
BTW:

If you are hired at higher level, you are expected to perform at that level
and competing and comparing against them.
Don't expect in the 5 people team you have 3 to 4 SDE/SDEII who are any less
knowledgeable than you with 3 year experience. There are plenty of people
in the market to be these 3.

potential, and much better pay..
