Is tax rate the same for money on 1099 and w2, other than minus expenses on

我觉得也是，公司pay w2的payroll tax了。不知道1040上差多少，比如w2大概20%，
同样钱1099要30%？40%？

Google it, because you can claim lots as business spence like car rental,

In your case，1099 is much better
1099多付~8% FICA(~120k)，然后，1099 tax rate更低。

晚上算了一下， 1099是180k， FICA应该有15%，你说的8%是w2上的，公司付另一半。
这样就剩153k， 140k w2应该会有年终bonus, 10%左右就比1099多了

一般有1099选的，w2都没bonus。你确定？

有没有考虑带薪假期和holiday？ 1099按小时算估计就没有PTO和holiday了，那w2一年
有多少天PTO和holiday呢？

假设都是合同工。
140k on W2 = 70/h
90-70/70=30%
1099 比W2 多30%，当然无脑1099 啦。

如果现在是full time, 工资涨多少值得换成合同工啊？感觉好难决定

这个不像下围棋，没有定式。
叔是这样想的，目前价位，医保算10k，休假算10k，不稳定因素（找工期间的gap）算
10k。
假如full time 100k/y，不考虑奖金股票的话，做contact 要65/h 左右 on W2，70/h
左右on 1099 （+10%）

看了楼主这个计算方法之后。
觉得楼主还是老老实实的拿W2吧。
可惜了。
