About the Job
Job Summary
This position is located in our Natick, MA USA headquarters and requires U.S
. Citizenship.
You will work as part of a focused team to develop software tools for
analysis and Model-based design of aerospace vehicle systems. Combining your
knowledge of aerospace systems with software development skills, you will
build upon the current analysis and simulation capabilities and help
architect and deliver the next generation tools.
Responsibilities
Using your object oriented programming and MATLAB skills, you'll be
responsible for the full software development lifecycle of MathWorks'
aerospace-related products. The scope of the work ranges all the way
through the Model-Based Design workflow including; developing intuitive user
interfaces, modeling and simulation features, and automatic embedded code-
generation and Verification/Validation capabilities.
You must be passionate about understanding real-world engineering challenges
and developing detailed requirements of how our customers use Simulink to
automate the aerospace engineering process.
In addition to responsibilities in the aerospace industry focused products,
you'll create demonstration programs, software models, case studies, and
software infrastructure enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a
master's degree) is required.
Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United
States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.
Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Programming experience with MATLAB
Experience with Simulink
Proficiency with object oriented design
Familiar with Aerospace and Defense
Additional Qualifications
Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or
related field
Desire to understand real-world engineering challenges in order to
develop a detailed understanding of how customers use Simulink to automate
the aerospace engineering process
3+ years of strong C++ / C++11 experience is a very big plus
Experience with FORTRAN and/or C Mex S-functions are both plusses
