I got a job offer in Wilmington , DE. I am not famaliar with that area at
all, please help me with questions below, THANK YOU so much and i owe you an
icecream.
1). Is it a fun place to live in? What about Chinese community there??
2). Living expenases (price of real estate, esp.)compared to states in
neighbor, like NJ and PA
3). Are there any nice towns nearby?
Finally, should I move there? I am currently living in a big city.

YES, Newark, lots of Chinese there. Close to PHL, NYC, DC
2). Living expenases (price of real estate, esp.)compared to states in
neighbor, like NJ and PA
A good place with reasonable house price, Rent is reasonable,compared with
TX, it is higher, but compared with NYC, so cheap

1) Don't know how you define "fun place", but this city is ok. There is a
Chinese church, so if you are a christian, it'll be good for you.
2) The real estate price here in Delaware is much cheaper than that in NJ
and PA. With $300K-$400K, you can get pretty good house.
3) The city itself is OK, but I guess you would rather live outside of
Wilmington. By the way, there is no sales tax here and the state tax is very
low.
