年纪一大把了，PhD读的很郁闷，想quit然后找工作。但不知道可不可行呢。我有美国
EE排名40左右学校的硕士学位，在国内也有几年工作经验。但不知道即使能找到工作，
能以什么身份开始工作呢？十分困惑求助各位大虾了。

现在开始找，争取4月份左右工作敲定，正好赶上10月份生效的h1b

If you are sure this is what you want, do it! I saw many people quit their
PhD and find good jobs.

多谢鼓励了。不过我能以什么身份工作呢？比如说我四月份找到工作，什么时候可以开
始上班呢？10月的H1b不是明年的名额么？

You need to figure out whether you still have OPT availble after you quit
your Ph.D.
H1B can be done after 4.1, but it starts at 10.1. So you need to have a visa
to hold this period, either in OPT or F1 status.

一般的公司愿意等那么长时间吗？
