H1B已经拿到了，原公司可以保留身份到12月19号。请问在此之后还有没有可以找工作
的mercy period，如果没有了，为了保持身份，有什么可以转的签证类型么？

There is no grace period for H1B. You can change your status to H4 if your
sponse has H1B. If that's not an option for you, consider F1 or B2.

find a language school in your local area. They can give you I20 in 2 weeks.
once you filed H1-B to F1 transfer, you should not be count as out of
