2) Sears: currently sold around 30c/$1; current yield: > 30%
3) GM and F: currently sold for < 20c/$1; current yield > 50%

我是’赴死扛”在职人员，后勤部门，相对厂子内比较自由，在F-M 已经3年多了，在
这里我不想说里面工人的劳动强度大小，我只想说出我所知道的，本人可以对自己所说
的话负责：看来不少人真以为这些人都是跳楼自杀的？？据我自己所知道的，死者中有
数位是被保安（我所说的保安不是门口看门的那些，是我们FOXXCOM(我知道打错)内部
的：环安课）打死的：其中一个（名字就不说了）是因为年纪小偷拿了公司一个小电子
产品，活活被保安打死从楼上扔下来，此死者当时左胸有一个血洞，是被保安用钢管戳
穿肋骨致死。其中我知道还有一个是因为和主管不和（原因是年轻人工作中损耗品太多
被主管骂的太凶顶撞而已），此人在离职前一周左右被主管栽赃，被环安科关起来，其
主管和保安用钻头活活钻死从楼上扔下来。另外哈工大名牌毕业生的那位哥

看着确实很别扭。不过也许人家专业很牛。
就算我能挑出人家几百个语法错误又怎样，还不是连个电话面试都没有。哎，哭啊。。

my English is not good. I doesn't edit my Note (for purpose of own
documentation) before publishing it here. I type the post with english coz
it is convenient. forgive my grammar error or typo, can't spend more time
on that.
In fact, do any friends here know the working culture or environment of GE
global research center? it will be appreciated if those information can be
shared.

lz,我有一个问题：
我在学校的career center听老师说这种tell me about yourself的问题，回答个1-
2min就可以了。要留点给人家问问题的空间，讲太多怕人家不耐烦。。。
你那20min是一气呵成吗？都赶上半个seminar了，会不会太长啊？

Ali,
I did my homework before interview by studying the job description and my
resume.
And he make it clear that he will give me chunk of time to sell myself.
Therefore, I cover my experience with concise language according to the
requirements of job description.
On the other hand, I'm listening to his reaction. He didn't show any
intention to switch topics or annoying. Therefore, I assume he will like to
understand my expereince better.
So I think it really depends on who is your future manager

和你的差不多，一上来就要求介绍phd dissertation，research work，然后看match不
，要往job description上靠。
对于GRC，他们注重Phd期间发表论文的数量和质量。我第一次是内部推荐的，很match
，可惜偶没有准备好。第二次是他们直接找我的，第三次是他们邀请我投的一个职位。
我的简历在他们数据库中。可惜，后两个和我的phd work相差还是有点大，俺是恶补了
一些知识。如果match的话，group interview后，他们会很快给反馈的，最慢的2周，
并邀请onsite。

我的第一次GE面试也fail了，也是没有看interview skill的书。
犯了很多错误。这样看来manager不会再你的account写负面的评语。
不然其他lab也不会来找你的。
这样看起来还很公平，何以来第二次，第三次。

Just call the manager today and he is arranging the group interview. And he
suggested me to allocate time for the onsite interview. It seems the group
interview will be similar to the first round of interview. Is this true?
Second question, how to prepare the onsite? It will take full day. It
includes one hour presentation.

我去过，应该住在他们自己的旅馆里（据说专门给领导们住的），我在那里发现居然厅
里的书架上有本孔子。个人不喜欢group interview，去之后每个人都会有个人陪着，
基本你不用担心什么，也不用付什么钱，难道不是两天吗？一般是做完presentation，
然后跟人谈，每人半个小时，开始是HR的人，然后是公司的人，车轮战。
