应该装battery operated还是water powered backup sump pump?
我知道water powered backup sump pump的好处,只要有水就会工作.可是我觉得从水管
连一根管子到sump pump,会不会污染饮用水呀?比如sump pump发生故障,水倒流之类的.
一般的battery operated的在连续工作的情况下(比如大雨),能坚持多长时间?

到目前为止，在南海问题上坚持双边，一对一地谈判，很好地维护了中国的利益，但未
来继续这么做，有一定的难度。我们可以把南海问题的解决方案分为“双边”和“多边
”两种。美国的立场最近明显化，公开站在“多边”解决一边，但这并不能简单地说是
美国站在了东南亚国家一边。
这一最新发展让我想到中国与地区多边机制之间关系的演化。从外交理论和实践的
角度，这个演化过程有许多经验和教训值得汲取。
20世纪90年代初，我们一度对地区多边加以拒斥、反对，双边方式在中国外交中占
据主导，因为明显地，从外交行为和势力平衡的角度看，在中国没有加入、有限加入、
主导不了多边进程的情况下，多边解决方式对我不利。但后来我们逐步发现，多边机制
和多边外交没有那么可怕，反而有利于我，应该积极参与。这种观念的改变导致中国在

Depending on how long you lose the electricity. If your electricity is out
briefly, battery back up will work just fine. If out for long time, you will
be better off using a water powered version (you will waste a little clean
water).
It is best to make sure your house is sloped correctly, so you will not have
too much water to pump out to begin with.

我主要是担心backflow的问题.家里用的水,喝的水和通sump pit的水是通的,感觉上很
不好.我知道有valve防止回流,但是万一有点问题,岂不是喝了阴沟水?
