Paralegal/executive assistant
Location: Charlotte, NC
Status: Full time permantant position
Job duties:
Paralegal responsibilities include:
• Work as corporation paralegal preparing for any company
litigation trials, hearings, meetings, and closing arguments. This includes
a lot of search legal journals and past cases for precedent, review
information related to cases, and write reports or case notes for intenal
manager or external attorneys.
• Summarizing legal documents; conducting due diligence for
corporate transactions; preparing correspondence, files and closing binders;
and drafting basic corporate documents.
• The scope of the related area may including but not limited
litigation, personal injury, corporate law, criminal law, employee benefits,
intellectual property, labor law, bankruptcy, immigration, family law, and
real estate.
Executive Assistant responsibilities include:
• Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research,
preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and
performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving
visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and
follow through on issues in a timely manner.
• Be responsible for heavy calendar management for the excutive,
requiring interaction with both internal team and external clients, and
assistants to coordinate a variety of meetings and follow up.
• Answering telephones; composing correspondence; using MailMerge
for in-house mailings; making travel arrangements; overseeing general office
management; and event planning.
• Assisting with trade show and business development event planning
, creating or updating presentation software files, tracking budgets and
expenses, and communicating with external creative service providers.
Qualificiation
• Bachelor’s degree in related area;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills , must be reliable
and a self starter
• Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft
programs (Office, Outlook, Excel,powerpoint)
• Paralegal-type work experience (a plus)
• Available during nights and weekends as needed
• Extremely well organized with a proven ability to multitask in a
fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Great sense of humor
• Will be reporting directly to the CEO and the accounting manager.
