感想：
1. IO的要求比较高，本版被拒的很多，本已不报什么希望。
2. 推荐信没什么用，花了很多时间写。
3. media report 要强调名字
4. 如果只申请3条， totality被否的可能性很大.
5. it is better to acclaim the critical role. recommendation letter from the
director is enough and it is better if your photo is on the website of your
establisments.
6. do not be afraid of NOID and RFE and try IO first.
前一段时间几位朋友向我发信询问，当时很忙，无法回复，请多多原谅。

呵呵，看到了。大蒜耐寒不要管它们，严寒来临时它们会缩得比较矮小保存营养，绿叶
会枯黄得只剩一、二寸的样子。然后雕塑一冬天，明年春天才会再长大。

恭喜。
不是谁不想多claim几项，是大多数人只能claim三项，也就是最基本的authorship，
contribution 和review，有些专业根本上不了或者很难上media report，能拿奖的也
不多吧。

感觉大家都说membership现在有很大风险。假如申请了三条以后，再加一条sigma Xi之
类的会员，会不会对所谓的totality有帮助呢。
