比如我在一个杂志上发一篇文章, 后来我老板组里的人发文章引用我的, 老板的名字在
作者名单中但是我的名字不在, 这个引用算是独立引用吗?

不算，只要两篇文章，任何一个名字有重复都不算

换句话说, 只要在你所发文章中出现过的名字, 其所发文章引用了你的PAPER, 都算自
引.

Still confused.
if the situation like this:
A and B are authors of paper 1;
C cited paper 1 in his/her paper 2; A and B are not in the author list in
paper 2.
B and C are authors of paper 3.
Is paper 2 still an independent citation (for A)?

自引也未必是坏事吧。如果自己组都不引，说明:
1: 结果不可信／不可重复
2: 人缘差

自引就相当于给自己打广告一样，也是对以后有好处的。
