ComputeNext is currently looking for an experienced QA and Operations
Expert, to participate in building a new, transparent Marketplace that
leverages a wide variety of Cloud platforms.
We are creating "the Expedia for Cloud Resources" !
The Role:
We seek a uniquely-qualified person who can perform in both the QA and
Operations roles, to help us deploy and test our Compute Resource
Marketplace:
- a web site that enables Consumers and Providers to engage and
transact for Cloud Resources
- internal APIs that interact with Cloud Resources
- externally-facing APIs that our Consumers use to interact with their
Cloud Resources
- Cloud connectors to enable an integrated API between our system and
the various Cloud platforms
The Successful Candidate:
- is a QA or Operations Expert with several years of experience in
roles with increasing responsibility
- has experience working in diverse environments that involve a
variety of front-ends that interact with server-side business logic
and functionality
- can understand the requirements and functionality of the entire
application stack from the presentation layer all the way down to the
database
- has experience working on Windows as well as Linux-based operating systems
- has exposure to several enterprise-scale languages as well as
scripting languages and environments
- has knowledge and experience working with Cloud Resources and Platforms
- thrives in a highly dynamic & challenging environment that
implements the Agile Process
- has experience with some or all of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Java and any
other Open Source technologies
- understands some or all of the Cloud Platforms including OpenStack,
vCloud, vSphere, AWS
- has a positive attitude and an eagerness to develop and deliver
high-quality solutions!
