律师说RFE calling for simple information regarding export control technology
，他已经回答了。真的是很小的问题吗？
不知道多久可以批，今天是PP的15天。
这个律师太差了，LCA 被deny了一次。现在又RFE了。从开始办H1B transfer到现在已
经2个月了，还在等，疯了。

I don't know the answer, but at least with PP, the decision on the RFE will
also be made within 15 days.

你的律师真是太差劲了.
我的LD也在办H1B. 昨天我们问国际办公室PACKAGE邮寄了没. 他们说还要做 "deemed
export documentation", 而且给我们解释了这是什么东西. 我去掉了些个人信息. 你
看看下面的回复. 感觉这个很容易做, 只要做就可以过. 只是你的律师不知道有这回事
而已.
For you reference, deemed export documentation information:Effective
February 20, 2011 all H-1B petitions need to state whether a foreign
national will require a "deemed export" license to be employed at a
particular job. This determination, at our univeristy, is done by xx at the
Office of Intellectual Property. The employee's supervisor is required to
fill in the Screening and Attestation Form electronically and email it to xx
, who makes a determination and then forwards the completed form to us. XX
university, being a university is exempt from most of the regulations and
therefore, the determination, almost always, is that a license is not
required. However it is still a formality that we are required to complete
every time we mail a H-1B petition.
