Quality Engineer- Global Shared Services
Position Summary
As a member of our in-house BPO organization, you will responsible for
supporting Quality initiatives and programs, managing document control, and
evaluating and analyzing customer performance relative to defined critical
success factors. Our BPO organization supports operational functions around
claims processing, underwriting support, legal, finance/accounting, and
vendor management. Current operations are supported out of 4 shared service
centers with plans to expand and open 4 additional international centers.
As a quality analyst, your primary focus will be writing procedures and
standardizing Quality metrics for underwriting using AIQ. You will work
directly with the Global Shared Services leadership team as well as Service
Center site Quality team members ensuring quality programs and standards are
aligned with business needs and requirements.
Organizational Structure
This position reports to the Global Quality Director of Shared Services and
is one of several key positions being added to our growing in-house global
operations team. You will interact closely with all levels of the
organization across the shared services centers.
Performance Objectives
* Partner with process owners and write global procedures and requirement
documents for specific processes and business units.
* Support continuous improvement efforts at shared service centers:
o Standardize metrics and quality data collected.
o Generate metrics to monitor ongoing quality performance & corrective and
preventive actions status.
o Develop & generate effective and value-added tracking systems for
monitoring quality and assisting in driving continuous improvement.
* Perform Quality audits and manage/ monitor corrective and preventative
action items to on time completion. Track audit findings that are open and
support service center site so that findings are closed in 30 days
* Support shared service center sites with the Quality management review
process and in achieving ISO9001 certification.
Position Requirements
The Ideal Candidate Should Have
* Previous experience writing and documenting procedures and requirements.
* Track record of collaboration with key stakeholders across a diverse
organization.
* Ability to learn Quality Management Systems & LSS tools.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project and
Access).
* Knowledge of AIQ, Cognos software and underwriting process preferred.
