House inspector said the house we want to buy is a Manufactured house. Is
this type of house usually bad quality and less valuable than traditional
house? Thanks

不一定bad quality，但是一般人都不喜欢这种房子，贬值也快。

Yes, it is called mobile house. It looks a very decent house and the price
is very good in that area. We are hestaing to give it up .

这东西，就像阿姆在8mile里面住的那个活动平房一样吗？发的照片看看吧。。偶觉得
再便宜也是你自己的钱，几十万买这样的活动房子好像不咋样。那个区域如何，
location好的话，以后你在盖一个真正的房子好了。

Mobile home and manufactured home are different kinds of homes.
Mobile homes sometimes can sit on rented land, has a coach number, and in CA
, are sold just like a car through DMV. Financing is also challenging.
Manufactured homes, on the other hand, usually are bolted down to a
foundation, and the sale most likely includes the land. Manufactured homes
are built in a factory, and meet federal standards, but your local
government might have stricter building code that the manufactured homes don
't meet.

You are right. The one I am talking about is the latter one. Although it
looks no differnce from traditional on-site bulit house, still have troubles
when it comes ot finacial loan (95% of the lender won't loan money for htis
kind of the house). I assume I would have a hard time to sell it in the
future coz the buyer woul dhave the same loan problems.
