Dow touches new 2010 high
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Stocks gained Wednesday, with the Nasdaq and S&P
500 building on 18-month highs hit in the previous session, as investors
continued to welcome the Federal Reserve's decision to hold interest rates
steady.
The Dow Jones industrial average (INDU) added 33 points, or 0.3%, in the
morning, rising as high as 10,731.10 and briefly topping its 2010 closing
high of 10,725.43 hit on Jan. 19. Should the Dow close above that level, it
would be at an almo
