Full Nighttime Closures of the 405 Freeway Planned This Week
Those who travel on the 405 Freeway should expect full directional
closures Dec. 2-4. Though the lane closures won’t begin until10 p.m.,
ramps will begin to close as early as7 p.m.Please plan your commutes
accordingly.
Closure details are as follows:
Monday, Dec. 2 – Southbound 405 Freeway
·The southbound 405 will be fully
closed the night of Monday, Dec. 2, from midnight to5 a.m.on Tuesday
, Dec. 3, from Sunset Boulevard to Wilshire Boulevard.
·Detour: From the southbound 405, exit
at Sunset Boulevard, turn right onto northbound Church Lane, turn right onto
southbound Sepulveda Boulevard, turn right onto westbound Wilshire
Boulevard and enter the southbound 405 on-ramp on the right, at westbound
Wilshire Boulevard.
Tuesday, Dec. 3 – Southbound 405 Freeway
·The southbound 405 will be fully closed
the night of Tuesday, Dec. 3, from midnight to5 a.m.on Wednesday,
Dec. 4, from Sunset Boulevard to Wilshire Boulevard.
·Detour: From the southbound 405, exit
at Sunset Boulevard, turn right onto northbound Church Lane, turn right onto
southbound Sepulveda Boulevard, turn right onto westbound Wilshire
Boulevard and enter the southbound 405 on-ramp on the right, at westbound
Wilshire Boulevard.
Wednesday, Dec. 4 – Northbound 405 Freeway
The northbound 405 will be fully closed the night of Wednesday, Dec. 4,
from midnight to5 a.m.on Thursday, Dec. 5, from Santa Monica
Boulevard to Moraga Drive.
·Detour: From the northbound 405, exit
at westbound Wilshire Boulevard, turn right to northbound Sepulveda
Boulevard, turn left onto the Moraga Drive northbound 405 on-ramp.
