The last day to close according to the contract is Aug 6th (45 days after
the signing date). Now the seller wants to close on Aug 18th and refuse to
pay the extra charge that I have to pay to lock a 30-day rate instead of a
15-day rate. My buyer agent is pushing me to accept it and sign the
amendment.
But I really feel it is unfair for me. So I am wondering if this
constitutes a violation of the contract by the seller? What can I do?
