Android/Linux Kernel Engineer
(Job Description)
Android/Linux kernel engineer candidates are sought to conduct leading-edge
android/Linux OS performance optimization for Huawei cell phone.
The ideal candidates must enjoy tackling technical challenges by creating
innovative solutions, and should have significant knowledge and experiences
in OS internals: memory management, scheduler, IPC and other OS related
areas. Other important attributes are versatility and a passion for building
high-quality software systems.
(Requirements- In bullets only)
• Lead in research and development of any OS product (Android,
Linux, BSD, vxWorks)
• Analyze requirements, design and evaluate key technologies of the
Android/Linux kernel to meet the requirements
• Work with a team of architects and engineers to develop proof-of-
concept systems and components
• Write and maintain architecture and detailed design specification
• Perform design and code reviews
• Minimum 3 years of experience in research and development of OS
with PhD in CS or a relevant field, or 5 years of experience with a Master's
, or 10 years of experience with a Bachelor degree.
• Experience with C coding is required
• Experience in ARM v8 architect a plus
