roast也叫烤，不过应该不是放火上烤吧，我觉得是烤箱那种烤
grill就是BBQ那种直接在火上烤，或者隔个铁架子烤

看起来BBQ必须有点烟火味道（所以有BBQ酱）。显然roast的肉不一定非要有点烟熏味。

smoke那是熏制。bbq应该是冒烟的烤制。grill是不冒烟的烤制。bake是烘制。

Roast: 东西放在烤箱烤, 通常不接触明火
Grill: 东西放在烤网上烤, 通常接触明火
Broil: 东西用超级高温烤熟, 可以用烤箱或是明火
BBQ: 通常专指用碳低温长时间烤熟食物,
Smoke: 通常专指用烟熏熟的烤肉, 不一定用碳一定用烟熏燃料

那个smoke好像完全是冷烟熏，肉基本没有超过50度过吧。smoked鱼也是一样，冷烟熏。
