一般情况reach不到,我out of pocket 2500都没reach到。我deductible 1250后要交 20%呢,而且整个过程都是1年内的。

这个保险确实不好,相对来说2好点,assume cost is around 20k. 而且明年health flexible spending一个人最多存2500了。希望LD公司明年不要换保险 啊。

The majority of measures in Obama's health care reform won't take effects until 2015. I understand people's frustration with rising health care bills, but please don't blame it on the wrong person. Blame it on the insurance companies and the Republicans who opposed universal health care on behalf of the insurance fat cats. Were it not for Replicans that blocked the public option, we would have affordable health care run by the government in this country, just like Canada and Japan.

The problem is with administrative costs of insurance companies, which amout to 1/3 of medical costs in this country. What the US needs to do is to get rid of health insurance companies all together, and create a public health care system. Many other develped countries did just that, and they manage to provide high quality medical care at much lower medical costs. Japan and Canada are the prime examples.

据说~~ Do some serious research folks. Read the column by Paul Krugman in NYT. He's darn right and smart on that topic. You don't see people going bankrupt because they can't afford health insurance in Canada and Britain.

Nah... i have friends and coworkers in Britain. They have their complaints, but they would not trade their public hospitals for insurance companies in the US. BTW, both Canada and Britain rank higher in terms of health care quality than the US. Actually, the US ranks the lowest among developed countries. Again, please do some research. Go read Paul Krugman's column. I am serious. He's a nobel prize winning economist. His comments on this issue are really to the point.

Yeah, but only for kids, which started this year. For adults, I think we can still be denied health coverage within 5 years after the bill's passed - sad, but that's the only way for Obama to get the bill passed to get around filibuster by Republicans.
